Nocino Riserva ml 500
 

This liqueur is obtained according to the antique tradition, by putting unripe walnuts, harverested at the end of june, in a pure alcohol infusion with the herbs and spices. 


Even today, the tradition requests that the green walnuts are gathered only on the night of June 23rd, the first day of summer. Today, it is known as St. Giovanni Day Liquor infused with the green cupules of the walnut aged at least 4 years. ‘Nocino’ turns out to be the most popular domestic liqueur in Reggio Emilia.


The best way to serve it is ‘liscio’ straight at a temperature of about 16°C as an after-dinner digestive drink. There are other variations of serving ‘Nocino’ such as with Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese or on vanilla ice cream which makes for an excellent dessert.
